Yoga in Hampton

Whether you're interested in yoga for fitness or relaxation, our Hampton studio offers multiple classes to members every week, including Vinyasa and Yin. Yoga classes are just one of the many ways to take care of your wellbeing as a member of David Lloyd Hampton. After you've rolled up your mat, enjoy everything our health club has to offer. Swim in our indoor and outdoor pools, play a game of tennis or make time for post-workout recovery with our spa facilities. You can get some work done over a delicious coffee in our Clubroom, explore our excellent gym or try a totally different style of exercise class. Yoga

Vinyasa yoga

One of the types of yoga we offer is Vinyasa, also known as 'flow yoga'. The idea is to flow seamlessly from one pose to another, connecting movement to breath. Vinyasa classes are full of movement, leaving you feeling energised and rebalanced.

Yoga

Yin yoga

For a change of pace, try our Yin yoga classes. This is a slower style of yoga, where you hold postures for longer in a seated or reclined position.

Pilates in Hampton

In addition to yoga, we offer mat Pilates classes. Pilates focuses on strengthening the core to benefit the whole body, and there's usually some flexibility work, too.

Beginner-friendly yoga classes in Hampton

New to yoga, or returning after a long break? Our experienced yoga instructors will guide you through the classes, providing advice and correction when necessary. They can adapt the sequences for different abilities, so beginners can mix with more experienced yogis.

What to wear to a yoga class at David Lloyd Hampton & how to book

  • Bring a water bottle for more dynamic classes

  • Grip gloves and/or socks may help you feel more secure

  • We provide mats, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer

  • We provide all props
