Countryside, part of the Vistry Group, is delighted to announce the completion of the sale of land off Sandlands Drive, Marham Park to David Lloyd Leisure, Europe’s leading health and wellness group.
Work will start later this year on the brand-new David Lloyd Bury St Edmunds which is due to open in 2024. The new club will feature a host of impressive facilities including a state-of-the-art gym, heated indoor and outdoor pools and fully-equipped group exercise studios, comprising a group indoor cycling, high energy, BLAZE and a Mind & Body studio. There will also be indoor and outdoor tennis and padel courts.
Other wellness facilities will include a luxury indoor Spa which will include saunas, steam rooms, hydrotherapy pool beds and a deep relax zone creating a sanctuary of relaxation to recharge, revive and rejuvenate.
Family sits right at the heart of David Lloyd Clubs and the new club will offer structured, progressive swim and tennis coaching and after-school and holiday clubs. There will also be a Clubroom with a family zone and indoor soft play area for the younger ones; plus an adults-only area and business hub. An outdoor patio area will offer a space for outdoor dining and drinking on warmer days and evenings.
